| The New Orleans Buffalo Soldiers has adopted a homeless shelter of over 20 disabled citizens. On a regular basis the group visits the group, take them to dinner, participate in daily activities and do special presentations to each of the citizens. "We've found this experience to be quite humbling and touching" says Gerome Young, President N.O. Chapter. "We just love our new adoptive family...that's what being community oriented is all about". |
